Veterinary Nurse - Small Animal RVN

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Registered Vet Nurse to join a successful small animal veterinary practice in the Portsmouth area of Hampshire.

Role

• full time working 40 hours a week including 1 in 4 Saturdays on a rota and no Sundays, no OOH.
• practice has excellent facilities and high-quality equipment; cardiac and abdominal ultrasound, multi-parameter monitors, ECG, K Laser, In-house laboratory, Digital X ray (including dental), Endoscope, Tonopen, Blood pressure monitors, Infusion pumps, syringe driver, Bair Hugger, Capnography, fully equipped theatre, isolation wards and soon to have an Intensive Care Unit.
• fantastic opportunity to use your nursing skills to the full with a varied caseload including; theatre, radiography, dental procedures, inpatient care, nurse-led clinics and a great mix of general nursing duties.
• A Clinical Coach qualification or a willingness to train is desirable.

• brilliant location in the Portsmouth area of coastal Hampshire with fantastic local amenities and transport links

Requirements

• Qualified Vet Nurse
• Registered with RCVS
• good general small animal nursing experience.
• Clinical Coach qualification (or willing to train) desirable.

Salary Package

• Salary to £35,000.00 per annum to reflect your experience
• CPD Allowance, paid holidays, paid RCVS and VDS fees, pension scheme, discounts etc
