The Grand Arcade Shopping Centre in Wigan is bringing hundreds of new jobs to the town, and HELLO ORIENTAL is excited to be part of the new development. We are expanding a our Pan Asian restaurant to central Wigan and are looking for great people to join our kitchen team from day one.

1 x Head Chef – £30,000 per annum

We’re looking for an experienced Head Chef who can take responsibility for the kitchen and help set the standards from opening.

You’ll be expected to lead the kitchen team, maintain food quality and consistency, manage preparation and service, and make sure the kitchen runs smoothly during busy periods.

For this role, we are looking for someone who already has experience working within an Oriental / Asian fast-food or restaurant environment.

2 x Line Chefs – £27,000 per annum

We are also looking for two Line Chefs to join the team.

You’ll be preparing and cooking our Modern Pan Asian menu, working alongside the Head Chef and wider restaurant team in a fast-paced environment.

Training will be provided, so we’re looking for people with the right attitude, good customer service skills and a willingness to learn.

What we’re looking for:

• Full-time availability

• Able to work within an 11am–10pm operating time frame

• Able to reliably travel to Wigan

• Immediately available for training and to start

• Comfortable working in a busy hospitality environment

• Friendly, reliable and able to work well as part of a team

• Strong customer service attitude

For the Head Chef position, previous experience in an Oriental / Asian restaurant, takeaway or fast-food kitchen is essential.

For the Line Chef positions, training will be provided, although previous hospitality or kitchen experience would be an advantage.

Location: Grand Arcade Shopping Centre, Wigan

Hours: Full-time, working within an 11am–10pm time frame

Head Chef: £30,000 per annum

Line Chefs: £27,000 per annum

Start: Immediate training for line Chef and immediate start for Head Chef
