Role Overview

The Global Head of Operational Services is responsible for the strategic leadership, governance, operational performance and transformation of TP ICAP's global Client Lifecycle Management (CLM) and Party Reference Data functions.

The role is accountable for ensuring the effective onboarding, maintenance and offboarding of clients, counterparties and related entities across the Group, while maintaining the integrity, quality and governance of Party Reference Data used throughout TP ICAP's front-to-back ecosystem.

The role will lead globally distributed teams across EMEA, Americas and APAC and will be responsible for delivering operational excellence, regulatory compliance, client experience, risk reduction and strategic transformation initiatives. The role forms part of the Global Operations Leadership Team and will work closely with Compliance, Risk, Technology, Legal, Finance, Data Management and Front Office stakeholders.

Role Responsibilities

• Lead TP ICAP's Global Operational Services function, encompassing Client Lifecycle Management (CLM) and Party Reference Data across EMEA, Americas and APAC.

• Set the strategic direction for the function, ensuring alignment with the Group's operational, risk and growth objectives.

• Oversee the end-to-end client lifecycle, including onboarding, maintenance, periodic reviews and offboarding activities.

• Ensure the integrity, quality and governance of Party Reference Data across the organisation.

• Drive operational excellence through continuous improvement, standardisation, automation and service enhancement initiatives.

• Maintain a robust risk and control environment, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies and governance standards.

• Act as the senior escalation point for Operational Services matters globally.

• Partner closely with Front Office, Compliance, Risk, Legal, Technology and Data Management stakeholders to deliver effective business outcomes.

• Lead the function's transformation agenda, including technology enhancements, operating model improvements and process optimisation.

• Oversee data governance standards and act as a key sponsor of data quality and stewardship initiatives within Operational Services.

• Provide leadership, coaching and development to globally distributed teams, fostering a high-performing and collaborative culture.

• Contribute as a member of the Global Operations Leadership Team, supporting broader Operations strategy and organisational priorities.

Experience / Competences

Essential

• Significant leadership experience within Operations in a wholesale financial markets, capital markets, banking, or financial services environment.

• Deep and demonstrated understanding of Client Lifecycle Management, KYC/AML processes, and operational controls.

• Experience leading large, geographically dispersed teams and driving organisational change.

• Proven ability to design and improve operational processes, controls, and service delivery models.

• Proven and robust stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging senior business leaders and control functions.

• Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Experience interacting with regulators, auditors and senior executive stakeholders.

• Demonstrated experience managing risk, governance, and regulatory obligations within an operational environment.

Desirable

• Deep knowledge of wholesale financial markets and post-trade operational processes.

• Experience leading data governance, data quality, or reference data initiatives.

• Experience delivering technology-enabled transformation, automation, or operating model change.

• Proven track record of driving continuous improvement and operational excellence programmes.
