THE DIFFERENCE YOU MAKE
Santander is looking for a Fraud Product Owner based out of Unity Place, Milton Keynes and Bootle.
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Fraud Risk Management team as a Fraud Product Owner. Within this role you will be responsible for leading work within the Fraud Technology, Design and Change team, working closely with colleagues in Fraud Risk Management team and Fraud CIO teams to deliver and enhance our Fraud detection and prevention capabilities through both Fraud-led and Bank-led change and initiatives.
The work we do within our team, and in collaboration with the Fraud CIO, is centred around utilising knowledge of Fraud trends and MOs to drive improvements across Fraud prevention and detection, with an aim to enhance the trust of a customer’s relationship with banking facilities across all channels.
You will work with the teams in Fraud CIO in driving improvements and developing these tools, capturing outputs and feeding into the relevant Fraud engines, ensuring the services are made available to end users across the Fraud Risk Management team. All change will be delivered within the agile framework.
You will work closely with the teams in the Fraud Risk Management team to understand current gaps in prevention and detection, Fraud MOs, losses and pain points within the Fraud strategies – this understanding will help drive the direction of improvements, focus and prioritisation of the changes to be delivered.
Change is to be delivered with a view to not only reduce the risk of Fraud to customers but do so whilst maintaining the best possible customer journeys, across customer Onboarding and throughout products, services and channels used within the customer lifecycle.
This will be done by effectively prioritising work within the teams, balancing Fraud-led change with requirements provided to external teams delivering against bank-led change.
We’re shaping the way we work through innovation, cutting-edge technology, collaboration and the freedom to explore new ideas. To succeed in this role, you will be responsible for:
Defining the product roadmap with a clear vision for implementing Fraud prevention and detection capabilities and improvements to Fraud Services required to enhance the measures in place to protect our customers
Leading discovery sessions that explore both internal solutions and third party offerings and research to drive the direction of enhancements and future developments
Managing varied backlogs requiring prioritisation and pragmatism to retain forward momentum within Fraud
