As our Wellbeing Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in supporting the physical, emotional and social wellbeing of the people in our care. Through compassionate, person-centred support, you'll help residents maintain their independence, enjoy meaningful experiences and feel valued every step of the way.

One week you will work 4 shifts a week, the next 3 shifts a week on a rolling rota. The average hours are 28 hours a week with a 30 minute unpaid break each shift.
What You Will Do In This Splendid Role
Every day is different, but you'll play an important role in supporting residents to live happy, healthy and fulfilling lives.
- Deliver compassionate care – Support residents with personal care, mobility and daily living activities, always promoting dignity, independence and person-centred care
- Champion wellbeing – Plan and deliver engaging wellbeing activities that encourage social interaction, physical activity and emotional wellbeing through both group and one-to-one sessions.
- Bring activities to life – Create meaningful experiences through exercise, arts and crafts, music, reminiscence, virtual experiences, interactive games and digital wellbeing tools, tailoring activities to residents' individual interests and abilities.
- Promote independence – Encourage residents to participate in everyday activities, supporting them to maintain confidence, choice and independence wherever possible.
- Monitor resident wellbeing – Observe and report any changes in residents' physical, emotional or social wellbeing, ensuring concerns are communicated promptly to the wider care team.
- Maintain a safe environment – Follow health and safety, infection control, safeguarding and moving and handling procedures to provide a safe, comfortable and welcoming environment for everyone.
- Build trusted relationships – Develop positive relationships with residents, families and colleagues, communicating with empathy, patience and respect at all times.
- Work as one team – Collaborate with colleagues across the home, attending training and team meetings while contributing to a positive, supportive and caring environment.

- The ability to undertake the physical aspects of the role, including supporting residents with mobility and working across both the care home and hydrotherapy setting.
- A willingness to work a flexible shift pattern, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
