Your Role

As Team Leader, you’ll help shape daily life for our residents by:

  • Supporting residents with all aspects of daily living, ensuring comfort, dignity, and personalised care.
  • Guiding and supervising staff, helping new and junior colleagues grow in confidence and skill.
  • Providing emotional, physical, and spiritual support, especially for residents with limited mobility, learning difficulties or behavioural needs.
  • Monitoring wellbeing, offering reassurance and close attention to residents who may be confused or experiencing challenges.
  • Promoting continence and supporting residents with progressive illnesses or end-of-life care.
  • Maintaining accurate care plans and completing daily records in line with company policies.
  • Encouraging hobbies and social activities, helping residents stay connected to the things they love.
  • Responding to calls and enquiries, passing messages promptly and communicating clearly.
  • Liaising with GPs and managers, ensuring every resident receives the right support at the right time.

What We’re Looking For

You’ll thrive here if you’re:

  • Warm, approachable and full of positivity
  • Organised, reliable and confident leading a team
  • Passionate about improving the lives of older people
  • Flexible across some evenings and weekends
  • Experienced in a similar role
  • NVQ Level 3 qualified (or willing to work towards it)

What You’ll Enjoy

Working at Castle Grange means being part of something special:

  • A friendly, supportive and welcoming workplace
  • Genuine opportunities for training and career progression
  • A role where you make a meaningful difference every single day
  • A close-knit team that values kindness, teamwork and compassion
