- Pay Level: 7, £43,253 - £48,795 (fully inclusive of Local Weighting Allowance) plus (14% Shift enhancement)
- Contract Type: Permanent
- Working Hours: Rota working across 7 days a week including weekends, bank holidays and out of hours as required. Rotas are subject to change based on the needs of the service.
- Location: Observatory House/ Slough Hybrid (minimum 2 days per week in the office). This role invloves working from people’s homes in the community and visiting hospitals or care home setting if required as part of the reablement interventions.
- DBS requirement: Enhanced

What you’ll be doing
We are seeking 4 passionate and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our Reablement and Independence Service (RIS). This community-based role focuses on empowering individuals to regain or maintain independence in their own homes through strength-based assessments, rehabilitation, and recovery-focused interventions.
Working within a multi-disciplinary team (MDT), you’ll support residents with a range of needs including physical and mental health conditions, learning difficulties, and age-related challenges. You’ll also collaborate with colleagues across the Local Access Point, Locality and Hospital Social work and Discharge to Assess teams to ensure seamless care transitions and effective discharge planning.

Annual increments, where applicable, are usually payable on 1 April, subject to six months’ service and satisfactory performance, until the maximum spinal column point is reached.
