Multiplex is seeking a Head of Planning to lead our UK planning function. This is a senior role with responsibility for shaping the future of planning across the business. Reporting to the Technical Director, you will set the standards and approach that underpin planning across our project portfolio. You will help ensure programmes are robust, achievable and aligned with project and business objectives.

As the functional lead for planning, you will provide support and direction to the planning team. You will drive consistency in planning practices, reporting and programme management across the business. Working closely with senior leaders, project teams, clients and consultants, you will provide oversight and assurance across major projects. You will challenge programme performance, identify opportunities for improvement and champion best practice.

This role offers the opportunity to influence how planning is delivered across Multiplex. As the principal planning leader for the business, you'll help shape strategy, develop capability and strengthen the function's influence across projects and senior leadership teams. A key focus will be enhancing reporting, data and benchmarking practices, while supporting the continued development of planning tools, systems and processes.

What You'll Need To Be Successful

You'll have significant experience in construction planning and a strong track record delivering major and complex projects. You'll bring expertise in programme development and controls, together with the ability to identify risk, influence decision-making and drive positive outcomes. Experience developing capability, driving consistent standards and supporting high-performing teams is essential. You'll be skilled at building effective relationships with clients, consultants, project teams and senior stakeholders, and confident influencing outcomes across complex environments.
