Bedale Dental Practice is a modern five-surgery practice with a dedicated hygiene suite, offering general dentistry, implants, orthodontics and endodontics.

You’ll be joining a friendly team that is committed to delivering excellent patient care and developing its people. The practice already supports professional development, with Dental Nurses undertaking implant training, opportunities for internal progression and funded postgraduate courses available.

The support behind you

As part of Envisage Dental, you’ll have access to specialist expertise across HR, finance, compliance, marketing, operations and clinical services.

You’ll also be part of a wider Practice Manager network, giving you the opportunity to share ideas and learn from experienced colleagues across the group.

What will you be responsible for?

As Practice Manager / Business Manager, you’ll be responsible for the practice’s operational, commercial and people performance.

Your role will include:

  • Leading, coaching and developing the practice team
  • Managing practice performance, KPIs and financial results
  • Driving growth, patient retention and diary utilisation
  • Managing budgets, costs and resources
  • Supporting recruitment, onboarding and colleague development
  • Working closely with clinicians to achieve business and patient-care objectives
  • Leading local marketing and business development activity
  • Maintaining high clinical, operational and compliance standards
  • Creating a positive and accountable team culture
  • Ensuring an exceptional patient journey from first contact through to ongoing care

About You

We’re looking for an experienced Practice Manager, Business Manager or operational leader who is ready to take the next step in their career.

You’ll ideally have:

  • Previous dental practice management or equivalent leadership experience
  • Strong commercial awareness and experience managing KPIs
  • Proven experience leading, coaching and developing teams
  • Confidence managing budgets, costs and financial performance
  • Experience improving diary utilisation, patient conversion and practice growth
  • Knowledge of CQC, compliance and dental regulatory requirements
  • Experience with SOE, Exact or similar dental practice management systems
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
  • The confidence to make decisions and take accountability for results

Above all, you’ll be commercially driven, people-focused and proactive, with the ability to motivate a team and identify opportunities to improve practice performance.
