NHS Grampian is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Research Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Research Team. This is an exciting opportunity for an established research nurse who is looking to build on their clinical research expertise while developing their leadership and management skills within a progressive and expanding research environment.

The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality clinical research and supporting the continued growth of NHS Grampian's research portfolio. Alongside direct involvement in clinical trials, you will provide day-to-day leadership and coordination of a dedicated team of research nurses, ensuring studies are delivered safely, efficiently, regulatory standards are maintained, and participant recruitment targets are achieved.

Working closely with the wider Senior Research Team, you will support the successful delivery of a diverse portfolio of cardiovascular studies, helping to ensure research participants receive excellent care and that high-quality research data are collected in accordance with all relevant legislation, policies, and Good Clinical Practice guidelines.

As a senior member of the Research & Development team, you will support the Lead Research Nurse through line management and supervision of research nursing staff, contribute to workforce planning and service development, and deputise for the Lead Research Nurse as required. You will also contribute to the ongoing strategic development of research nursing services across NHS Grampian.
