EKC Group are seeking aproactiveandmotivatedHousekeeping TeamLeader to lead our Housekeeping team and help maintain high standards across the College. You will beresponsibleforsupervisingdailycleaningactivities,supportingandmotivatingstaff,ensuringcompliancewithhealthandsafetyrequirements,andcontributingtoanenvironmentwherestudents,staff,andvisitorscanthrive. You will be based at Broadstairs College and work within our busy Estates Department
The post holder will have a positive attitude, with the ability to motivate and lead a team of housekeepers while maintaining high levels of cleanliness & hygiene. You will also be able to perform the array of cleaning tasks including the use of machinery widely used in the industry.

Salary: £24,008 per annum
Contract: Permanent
Hours per week: 30
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday split shift 05:30 to 09:30 & 16:00 to 18:00

About You
Successful candidates will preferably have previous experience of team leadership and cleaning in a commercial environment as well as the ability to learn quickly and maintain high standards of work.
You will also have a Level 2 qualification in English & Maths or be willing to work towards these (the College will support with such qualifications).
A health & safety certificate would be of benefit but not essential as training is provided.
