Driver/ Stores Administrator -Emersons Green, Bristol.

  • £16,457.00 per year.
  • Part-time 22.5 hours per week working Mondays to Fridays with some occasional Saturdays.
  • Private pension with employer contributions.
  • 25 days annual leave up to a max. of 28 days (Pro-rata for part-time employees) + UK Bank Holidays.

With the ever-increasing number of treatments and care we give to patients, the Stores Team part of Facilities department is looking to hire a Van Driver/Porter to join and assist the team at our Emerson’s Green hospital, Bristol and our surgical day centre in Devizes, Wiltshire

Please note that days will range from Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm with occasional Saturdays worked as overtime.

What you'll be doing

The position require that you deliver quality patient care by carrying out the following daily tasks:

  • Driving 3.5T Luton van between sites and other CSSD partners
  • To deliver a best-in-class clinical supplies service for the Hospital and treatment centre Devizes.
  • Responsible for optimizing customer satisfaction by transporting and delivering CSSD equipment, patient notes, daily post, OPD samples & controlled drugs, and/or other items in a safe and timely manner.
  • To provide a prompt, courteous service to all patients, administrative staff, doctors and nurse

What we’ll look for in you

Essential

  • Satisfactory Occupational health Clearance for the role specified
  • Good Attendance record
  • Satisfactory relevant DBS clearance
  • Ability to comply with manual handling guidelines and instructions.
  • Full, clean driving license to drive a Luton van between PPG sites, daily

Qualifications

  • Good level of educational attainment/previous experience within the NHS
