We’re looking for Community Resilience Workers (Outreach) to join the Children and Family Wellbeing Service and support families in our Family Hubs and in the community, a role where every day brings the chance to make a meaningful, lasting impact.

Working flexibly across Lancashire's Family Hubs, community venues, and through outreach , you’ll connect with families who may not otherwise access support, helping them stabilise, grow and thrive.

You’ll:

• Build trusted, respectful relationships with families
• Provide practical, hands-on support when it’s needed most
• Deliver engaging group sessions and drop-ins
• Work alongside partners to create a joined-up, accessible support network

Your work will directly help families overcome barriers, build resilience and improve outcomes for children and young people.

We’re seeking people who are:

• Compassionate, approachable and non-judgemental
• Skilled at building relationships and engaging communities
• Confident delivering group sessions and working one-to-one
• Adaptable, proactive, and solutions-focused

You’ll also have:

• Experience working with children, young people, and families
• Strong communication and partnership-working skills
• A good understanding of the challenges facing families today
• A commitment to equality, safeguarding and professional practice
