We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed professional to join our Health & Social Care team for the 2026/27 academic year.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a growing curriculum area, delivering high‑quality education that prepares learners for progression into employment or higher study within the health and care sector.

We welcome applications from individuals who:

  • Have experience delivering Health & Social Care qualifications, including Early Years
  • Are able to teach across a range of Health & Social Care programmes
  • Are passionate about learner development and maintaining strong industry relevance

Ideally we are looking for a qualified teacher, however applications from industry professionals who are interested in transitioning into education will also be considered (full training and support may be available). If you are motivated to inspire the next generation of health and care professionals and are considering a new opportunity within education, we would welcome your application.

This exciting role will include

  • Delivering practical engaging lessons to a variety of learners.
  • Joining a specialist teaching team, delivering across a wide range of subjects.
  • Supporting students via the tutorial program.
  • Delivery across a range of programmes to include NCFE/CACHE.

  • Recent industry experience
  • Relevant industry qualifications
  • A relevant degree and a teaching qualification (desirable)
  • Assessor/IQA Qualification (desirable)

College location: Based at our Eastbourne campus

Annual salary: Circa £30,000 - £42,000 per annum FTE (actual salary £14215 - £20081 per annum) - subject to qualifications, skills and experience

Hours: part time, 17.5 hours per week (currently one full day, Tuesday (pm) and Thursday (am)), full year.
