Cleaning Operative

At Oasis Academy Wintringham, we know that a clean and safe environment is essential for learning and wellbeing. We’re looking for a reliable and hardworking Cleaning Operative to join our team and help us keep our Academy spotless, welcoming, and ready for success every day.

Your Responsibilities

• Clean classrooms, corridors, toilets, changing rooms, offices, and communal areas to a high standard.
• Respond promptly to urgent cleaning requests and carry out emergency cleaning when required.
• Follow health and safety regulations and infection control procedures.
• Operate cleaning equipment safely and store materials securely.
• Assist with deep cleaning during school holiday periods.

Essential

What We’re Looking For

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good organisational and communication skills.
• Physically fit for tasks involving lifting and standing.
• Commitment to safeguarding and maintaining professional boundaries with children.

Desirable

• Previous cleaning experience, ideally in a school or similar setting.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety practices.
