Job Description & Summary
About this role
Join our national employment tax team as a Senior Associate, supporting clients with complex international employer advisory matters. You will work with large public and private sector organisations as they recruit, move and reward people across borders. The role focuses on providing advisory support on multi-jurisdiction employer withholding, social security, expenses, benefits, share based remuneration and employment status considerations. You will contribute to high-quality advice, technical analysis and client delivery, while developing your international employment tax expertise in a collaborative team. This is an opportunity to grow your technical capability, work with global teams and use technology enabled approaches to deliver practical client solutions.
What your days will look like
Support the delivery of international employment tax advisory work for clients across different sectors, working with UK and overseas teams on employer withholding, social security and internationally mobile employee matters.
Research legislation, tax cases, regulatory changes and best practice, then use your findings to draft clear technical analysis and practical client-facing recommendations.
Contribute to client projects, campaigns, surveys, blogs and proposal activity, helping identify opportunities to strengthen relationships and develop services.
Work collaboratively with colleagues across the national team and global network, using technology enabled approaches to deliver efficient, high-quality outcomes for clients.
This role is for you if
You have good technical knowledge of international employment taxes gained in advisory, in-house or global mobility roles.
You understand advisory issues relating to business visitors, cross-border commuters, non-resident directors and internationally mobile employees.
You have experience of international social security, UK employer National Insurance and the interaction with cross-border reward arrangements.
You can apply double tax treaty principles, PAYE and National Insurance considerations to equity, deferred compensation and bonus sourcing issues.
You have relevant experience supporting international employment tax advisory work, either in practice, in-house or within a global mobility environment.
What you’ll receive from us
No matter where you may be in your career or personal life, our benefits are designed to add value and support, recognising and rewarding you fairly for your contributions.
We offer a range of benefits including empowered flexibility and a working week split between office, home and client site; private medical cover and 24/7 access to a qualified virtual GP; six volunteering days a year and much more.
