KT Healthcare is a family-run organisation providing assessment and therapeutic services across the Brain Injury and Complex Care sectors. Our team of clinicians work on a sub-contracting basis – they are highly specialist and deliver high-quality assessments, reports, and therapy sessions within a multidisciplinary team.

We’re looking for an experienced Music Therapist to support an existing client who is 16 years old and starting college in September 2026.

The role will use music-based therapeutic approaches to support a range of communication and cognitive goals, including:

  • Speech and language articulation
  • Speech flow and fluency
  • Development and use of singing voice
  • Voice volume and projection
  • Enhancing memory and recall
  • Attention and concentration
  • Executive functioning and cognition

The young person’s college timetable is not yet confirmed, so the exact day and time of sessions will be agreed once this is available.

Ideally, you will have experience working with young people and experience using music therapeutically to support communication and cognitive development.

At KT Healthcare, we are committed to fostering excellence in clinical practice and supporting our team to deliver the highest standards of care.

We offer

  • A supportive and professional working environment
  • Access to group training and continued professional development
  • Regular peer support and 1:1 supervision sessions
  • Flexible working arrangements
  • Highly competitive rates of pay
  • The autonomy to choose your client group or caseload
  • Potential for further work and additional referrals

This is an excellent opportunity for a Music Therapist looking for a meaningful individualised role, working closely with an existing client and supporting their communication, cognitive and functional development as they transition into college.

Please submit your details and our team will be in touch to discuss the role.
