The Role

Our client is a large multinational firm that provides a range of financial services, including advisory, investment, and asset management solutions. It serves a diverse set of clients worldwide, focusing on strategic planning, market operations, and long-term financial growth.

What you'll do

• Coordinate daily cash flows with clients and manage settlement activity across FX transactions.
• Investigate and resolve settlement fails, position breaks and discrepancies, escalating issues where appropriate.
• Perform reconciliations and analyse aged breaks to identify and mitigate operational risk.
• Build strong relationships with clients, sales, trading and internal operational teams.
• Support process ownership by monitoring outstanding items and ensuring timely resolution.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and reporting, while supporting the testing and implementation of system changes.

What you bring

• Previous experience in trade settlement, trade support or a similar financial services operations environment.
• Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving abilities, with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work accurately and effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Proactive approach with strong attention to detail and the confidence to follow up on outstanding issues.
• Good understanding of operational risk, with the judgement to identify issues and escalate them appropriately.
