Temporary Quality Assessor (Domiciliary Care)

Location: Cannock (WS12 2DB)

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Contract: Temporary to cover long-term sickness absence

Flexibility: On-call duties and alternate weekends as required

About the Role

A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential for this role.

Based at our Cannock office, ICare Group is looking for an experienced Quality Assessor to support and enhance our domiciliary care services across Cannock, Stafford, and the surrounding communities.

You'll help ensure our services remain safe, compliant, and person-centred by conducting quality monitoring visits, auditing care records, supporting improvement plans, and working closely with care teams, service users, and external professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct quality monitoring visits
  • Audit care plans, records, and documentation
  • Support CQC compliance and quality improvements
  • Review service user outcomes and care standards
  • Work with safeguarding teams and healthcare professionals
  • Promote dignity, choice, equality, and person-centred care

What We're Looking For

  • NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards)
  • Experience in domiciliary care
  • Knowledge of quality assurance and compliance processes
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
  • Business-use insurance (or willingness to obtain)
