Business Services Co-ordinator

National Trust

Date: 1 week ago
City: Belfast, Northern Ireland
Contract type: Part time

Summary

If you’re brilliant at organisation and creating order, and you love working with people, upholding high standards in service and presentation, then this could be the role for you.

We’re looking for a Business Services Co-ordinator to join us at the Northern Ireland Urban Portfolio.

What It's Like To Work Here

The NI Urban Portfolio is a thriving, diverse and special collection of places ranging from the Greater Belfast Area which includes Divis and the Black Mountain, Collin Glen, Minnowburn, Lisnabreeny and Belmont Tower, to the windswept coastlines of Islandmagee, and down to the stunning Derrymore House in Bessbrook.

We look after around 3100 acres of countryside across the edges of Belfast City Centre, including the 2600-acre Divis and The Black Mountain at which we are implementing a transformational project delivering landscape scale nature restoration and access initiatives as well as new visitor facilities and interpretation.

What You'll Be Doing

This is a busy place, there’s a lot going on and you’ll find that no two days are the same.

Generally, you’ll be supporting day-to-day operations, and being the first person that people see when they come into the office. Your advice and experience will be sought after by others beyond the office team.

You’ll be a champion of best practice when it comes to business support, and will confidently challenge the status quo when you think there’s a better way of doing something.

Who We're Looking For

We'd love to hear from you if you’re:

  • experienced in giving business support, along with responsibility for facilities or office supervision
  • good at communicating, both in writing and speaking
  • able to work as part of a team, but also on your own initiative
  • flexible and focused on people
  • happy to multi-task and manage your own priorities and workload
