Location: Giffnock, Glasgow

Salary/Hourly Rate: £14.50

Contract: Permanent

I’m looking to employ a female Personal Assistant for personal care and support. This is a new post, specifically for weekend dayshifts as part of my four-weekly rota, so weekend availability is essential. I may also have some additional shifts available in the coming months, mainly to cover annual leave.

Briefly, I am an independently minded and chatty woman. I’m quite informal and love food and socialising. I live with progressive physical disabilities, and I am a wheelchair user.

Main Duties Would Include

• Assisting with moving and transferring to and from bed to wheelchair and wheelchair to car.
• Personal care. Due to the nature of personal care, I require a female PA.
• Assistance with carrying out daily living chores.
• Supporting me to live an independent life.

Candidates should be experienced (work or personal experience). Ideally, you should be a driver and willing to drive my car.

You must live within an easy commute of Giffnock.

You will be employed as part of an established and lovely PA Team.

Pay: £14.50 per hour for dayshifts and £18.00 per hour for nightshifts. Statutory holiday pay will apply to employed PAs, and you may be eligible to join a pension scheme. Self-employed PAs are also welcome to apply, with rates to be discussed and agreed in advance.
