An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Clinical Support Worker Higher Level to join Fyvie Ward as a Band 3.

Fyvie Ward is a busy acute admission ward with a catchment area that includes parts of Aberdeen City, Aberdeenshire, and the Orkney Islands.

Applicants should have an interest in working within Adult Mental Health and possess some knowledge of mental health conditions and associated symptomology. Candidates should be able to demonstrate a person-centred approach to care, have excellent communication skills, and be able to work effectively as part of a busy multidisciplinary team.

We are looking for individuals who are passionate about supporting people in their recovery journey and who are committed to developing their understanding of mental health, social factors, and the wider determinants that can impact wellbeing. Successful candidates must be keen to learn new skills, engage in professional development opportunities, and adapt their approach to meet the individual needs of patients. An ability to work collaboratively with patients to deliver personalised, recovery-focused care is essential.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience within an acute mental health setting while developing knowledge and skills in therapeutic engagement, risk awareness, and holistic patient care.
