NR255400 - Specialty Doctor - Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery

Applications are invited for a fixed term, one year position of Specialty Doctor in OMFS, based at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary and University of Aberdeen Medical Institutions. The position is for 40 hours per week. The successful candidate will join an established team including four Consultants and five other Specialty Doctors.

The department is also supported by a Specialty Registrar, FY2 / CT Doctors and Dental Trainees. The department undertakes a wide range of adult and paediatric procedures for patients from across the NHS Grampian region as well as those from Orkney and Shetland. These include a Head and Neck cancer service. The department also plays an active role in undergraduate and postgraduate education and the postholder will be expected to contribute to this.
