Cyan Sentinel Ltd, operators of quality offshore support vessels are currently recruiting an experienced Crewing Officer. The right candidate will be highly organised and proactive, with demonstrable experience within maritime crewing. This role is pivotal in supporting the Crewing Department in the planning, movement and management of the workforce, ensuring the availability and suitability of qualified crew and maintaining compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations at all times.
Responsibilities include;
Manage workforce planning and coordinate UK and international crew changes, including flights, visas, accommodation and logistics, ensuring vessels remain fully manned and operational requirements are met.
Monitor crew certification, medicals, visas and compliance with STCW, MLC, flag state and client requirements prior to mobilisation, identifying training needs and coordinating the necessary training arrangements to ensure continued compliance.
Coordinate the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, mobilisation, maintaining accurate records within the Crew Management System, and supporting employee development and retention.
Support internal and external audits, vessel visits and client compliance requirements.
Provide HR support, including payroll administration.
Maintain effective budget control across all crewing activities.
Minimum 3 years crewing experience with within the maritime industry (Ideally ERRVs/PSVs/AHTS)
Knowledge of UK employment legislation, STCW, MLC and Opito regulations
Strong organisation and communication skills
A high level of accuracy, attention to detail, the ability to prioritise workload and accountability
