This is a great opportunity to work on a study based here in Plymouth and work alongside Professor Ashwin Dhanda supporting the CALM study.

You will be based within the R&D department gaining support and knowledge from the wider R&D department as you work on the study as well as the wider Hepatology service.

A great opportunity to develop skills if you have an interest in research. Please note this is offered as a fixed term secondment for 18 months and the successful applicants will need to start on the 1st October 2026.

The University Hospitals Plymouth Research & Development department is based at Plymouth Science Park across two buildings. Potential candidates need to be aware that there are distances they will need to be able to cover between the buildings and the different research clinics based in the main hospital site.

The post holder will be responsible for the implementation and monitoring of the clinical requirements associated with research to ensure optimum delivery of clinical trials. S/he will ensure that all research procedures are conducted according to study protocols and will be accountable for the recruitment, data collection and care of research participants with a focus on providing a quality experience.
