The Role

• Provide operational leadership to a large engineering organisation.
• Develop Engineering Managers, Senior Engineering Managers, and Staff Engineers.
• Partner with Product and Commercial leaders to align engineering and business priorities.
• Implement and drive improvements in delivery performance and engineering productivity.
• Champion AI adoption within software engineering practices.
• Support organisational planning, succession planning, and career development.

What You'll Need

• Proven experience as a Director of Engineering or similar senior leadership role.
• Experience leading multiple engineering teams through managers (35+ people).
• Background within high-growth, product-led SaaS environments.
• Exceptional people leadership and coaching skills.
• Strong partnership experience with Product leadership.
• Demonstrated ability to improve engineering performance using frameworks like DORA or SPACE.
