We are looking for a Chartered Commercial Development Surveyor to join our team. The role is full-time and permanent, working 36 hours per week.
We offer flexible working arrangements where the role allows. This role can be based at one of our sites or offices (Stonehenge or Bristol), at home, or worked on a hybrid pattern. You will be required to attend Stonehenge and surrounding sites on a frequent basis (at least 3 days a week). If the majority of your working week will be based at Stonehenge, Bristol or at site, you will receive a premium on top of the advertised salary. This will be discussed further at interview.

Are you a commercially minded Chartered Surveyor looking to apply your expertise helping to manage the National Heritage Collection?
English Heritage is seeking a Chartered Surveyor from a commercial, rural or other related pathway background, to join the Commercial Estates team and play a key role at Stonehenge, surrounding sites and the wider national portfolio.
As a Commercial Development Surveyor, you will develop and deliver the strategic plan for income and expenditure related to leases and management agreements at Stonehenge and surrounding sites. You will provide high-quality professional advice on all aspects of estate and asset management. You will help shape and deliver asset management strategies that will maximise commercial opportunities whilst protecting the heritage significance of our sites.
You will also play a lead role in a range of national projects, ensuring a clear prioritised approach to the development and commercialisation of our portfolio of land and property.
Your commercial decisions will help secure the future of our heritage for generations to come.
Interviews will be held on MS Teams on Monday 17th August and/or Tuesday 18th August, with a further second interview stage likely to be in person at Stonehenge the week after.
