This is a hybrid role, offering a blend of office-based and remote working following successful completion of training and probation.

What You'll Do

· As an Operator, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth movement of freight while delivering exceptional customer service. Your responsibilities will include:

· Managing day-to-day freight forwarding operations from start to finish

· Coordinating shipments across road, sea, and air freight services

· Liaising with customers, carriers, shipping lines, and suppliers

· Ensuring customs and shipping documentation is accurate and compliant

· Tracking shipments and proactively communicating updates to customer s

· Handling quotations and operational queries

· Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and partners

· Ensuring all files are completed accurately and in line with company procedures

What We're Looking For

· Previous experience within the freight forwarding industry

· Fluency in both English and Turkish is essential for this role due to the requirement to communicate directly with Turkish-speaking customers, suppliers and overseas partners on a daily basis

· Strong operational knowledge of freight processes and documentation

· Excellent organisational and time management skills

· A proactive approach with strong problem-solving abilities

· Outstanding communication and customer service skills

· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

· Experience with customs procedures would be advantageous

· A team player who is eager to contribute to the continued success of the Hull branch
