The mental health directorate contains adiverse range of clinical teams, professions and specialities. They are all committed to constantly evolving and improving clinical services for the benefit for those who need to use them and for those who work in them.
A quality improvement and performance post will be a transformational post that will have the full support of the mental health management team to apply the principles of quality improvement across a wide range of teams. Already in place is a workenvironment that has a track record for sustainable change. The post holder will work with a high level of autonomy and will be supported to make decisions and recommendations based on improving patient outcomes, staff experience and the delivery of strategic objectives.
The post holder whilst expectedto deliver a quality improvement framework which includes a sustained learning loop, the quality improvement agenda will fit with the aims of good financial governance and financial sustainability.
A key aspect of the role will be to develop a performance reporting framework related to national strategic drivers and the mental health directorate mission and vision.
The successful applicant will be joining an established, highly motivated managementteam. There is office space at Mountain Hall Treatment centre Dumfrieshowever an alternative base can be discussed. The post will four days per week with a maximum of one day working remotely, this is to reflect the expectation that the post holder will be imbedded across clinical teams in the directorate.
