  • To collect and record data abstracted from the Endoscopy database to compile monthly reports.
  • To provide assistance to clinicians in the development and maintenance of national and local clinical audit activities related to Endoscopy services.
  • To provide administrative support to Endoscopy services, by the preparation of data reports, arranging of Endoscopy Users Meetings, and minute taking
  • To ensure that data is collected accurately supervising and advising nursing and medical staff in data collection. Checking and validating the quality of data collected.
  • To communicate and receive complex accurate clinical data both internally and externally to outside bodies.
  • To work closely with the Joint Advisory Group (JAG) GI Endoscopy helping to implement audit systems.
  • To work closely with the Waiting List team and Unit manager to provide Capacity and Demand data, trajectory data and waiting list data.

Data collection and Interpretation

Close working relationships with Unit Manager and Waiting List Team

Utilising various computer systems on a daily basis, including creating and formatting spreadsheets.

Ability to undertake audits / surveys.

Assisting medical and nursing staff with research projects, using research methodologies.
