Ophthalmology and Orthoptic Department
We are looking to recruit three part-time Receptionists to join our friendly and busy Ophthalmology and Orthoptic Department:
- 2 x Receptionist – 5 days per week
- 1 x Receptionist – 2 days per week

We are seeking friendly, motivated individuals who can work both independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced and ever-changing department. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys dealing with patients and colleagues, managing a varied workload, and contributing positively to the patient experience.

You will provide administrative support to the administration team and medical secretaries within the department. Key duties will include preparing medical notes, filing documentation to ensure patient records are complete and up to date, and undertaking a variety of administrative and reception responsibilities in line with the job description.
The successful candidate will have a good standard of IT skills and be able to work accurately and efficiently in a busy environment. Previous experience of NHS computer systems would be advantageous; however, full training will be provided for the right candidate. We are looking for an organised, proactive individual with excellent communication skills and a positive, flexible approach to work.
