The Role
We are looking for an experienced helicopter engineer to join our instructional team as a Type Training Instructor. You will deliver theoretical and practical type training on Airbus Helicopters types within our approved course portfolio, prepare and conduct examinations and assessments, and support the continued development of our course material.

- Maintain accurate training, examination and assessment records for each course delivered.
- Confirm the currency of training material and technical publications prior to course delivery.
- Support students throughout the course, identify those requiring additional assistance, and report course feedback to the Training Manager.
- Maintain your own instructional currency, including updating tuition and continuation training in line with Part 147 requirements.
- Contribute to internal reviews, audits and the continuous improvement of the training organisation.
Essential Requirements
- UK CAA and/or EASA Part 66 licence, category B1 or B2.
- Type rated on Airbus Helicopters types (e.g. AS350/AS355, AS365, EC120, EC130, EC135, EC145, EC155).
- A minimum of 10 years of aircraft maintenance experience.
- Strong written and spoken English and confident presentation skills.
- Right to work in the UK and willingness to travel to Redhill and customer sites, including occasional overseas travel.
