Are you looking for an opportunity to broaden your experience, develop specialist knowledge, and gain valuable leadership skills within pharmacy services?

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated pharmacist to join the Pharmacy Biologics Team on a 6-month secondment. This is an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 pharmacist looking to step into a more senior role or a Band 7 pharmacist seeking to further develop their experience within specialist pharmacy services.

Main duties of the job

The Pharmacy Biologics Team plays a key role in supporting the safe, effective and cost-efficient use of high-cost medicines across a range of specialties. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, you will be involved in optimising biologic therapies and supporting service improvements that contribute to excellent patient care and sustainability.

  • Develop leadership, communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Qualifications

Essential criteria

  • GPHc registered
  • 12 months post registration experience

Desirable criteria

  • Non-medical prescriber or willing to undertake

Knowledge

Essential criteria

  • Working knowledge of pharmacy homecare services and associated recommendations

Desirable criteria

  • Experience in leading projects and managing change.
