The Centre for Child Rights, in collaboration with the Centre for Career Counselling and Capacity Building, organised a special lecture on the theme 'Child Rights Advocacy as a Career'. The session was graced by the esteemed Advocate Vikram Srivastava, Advocate at the Supreme Court of India and Founder of Independent Thought.

The centre conducted its first meet for the academic year 2022-23. The orientation was headed by the Centre Convener, Prof. Dr. Amol Deo Chavhan. Sir extended a warm welcome to the newly inducted members of the Centre of Career Counselling and Capacity Building, National Law University and Judicial, Academy, Assam. The programme was attended by the members of the centre. The orientation session was held to decide upon the plan of action of the Centre for the academic year 2022-2023.
