We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic

Administrative Assistant to join our Projects & Compliance team in Halifax!

Qualifications

  • Community College Diploma; a one year administrative or business course
  • Two years of relevant work experience
  • Knowledge of office equipment (e.g. photocopier, fax machine) required
  • Previous experience with work orderr systems considered an asset
  • Experience working in a similar environment is considered an asset
  • Experience with project management software an asset

Major Responsibilities

  • Manages compliance with various jurisdictional authorities. Includes reporting, data storage and follow up with stakeholders.
  • Performs routine clerical and administrative functions such as drafting correspondence, generating reports, scheduling appointments, and organizing and maintaining paper and electronic files.
  • Manages project timelines and reporting for various construction projects.
  • Ensures inspection readiness.
  • Maintains accessible compliance records.

Salary

  • As per the Northwood scale.

Effective Date: September 1st 2026

Hours of Work: 80 Hours Biweekly - 8 Hour shifts
