About Dadsnet
Dadsnet is one of the UK's largest communities for fathers, creating content that reaches hundreds of millions of people every month.
We don't just post on social media—we build communities, shape conversations and create content that makes dads laugh, think, learn and feel supported.
We're looking for someone who is obsessed with social media. Someone who studies why content goes viral, understands storytelling, spots trends before they happen and wants to create work that reaches millions.
If you're the kind of person who watches a Reel and immediately analyses the hook, pacing, edit and retention… you'll probably fit right in.
The Role
We're looking for a Social Media Producer who understands what makes people stop scrolling.
This isn't a corporate marketing role.
It's about creating content people genuinely want to watch, share and talk about.
You'll help spot trends before everyone else, generate creative ideas, edit engaging videos, write compelling captions, publish content and analyse what performs.
You'll work closely with our founder and creative team to create content that reaches millions of people every month.
What You'll Be Doing
- Creating short-form video content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube.
- Editing reels, shorts and social videos to maximise retention and engagement.
- Designing simple but impactful social graphics and carousels.
- Writing captions, hooks and headlines that encourage people to stop scrolling.
- Scheduling and publishing content across multiple platforms.
- Monitoring comments and helping build engaged communities.
- Keeping on top of social media trends, memes and platform updates.
- Using analytics to identify what works and how we can improve.
- Brainstorming fresh content ideas every week.
- Helping film content when required.
- Supporting brand campaigns by integrating sponsors naturally into content.
- Working across multiple Dadsnet brands and projects.
We're Looking For Someone Who...
- Lives on social media (in a healthy way!).
- Instinctively knows what makes content perform.
- Has excellent editing skills using software such as Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut Pro or similar.
- Can create eye-catching graphics using Canva, Photoshop or similar.
- Has exceptional written English.
- Understands pacing, hooks and storytelling.
- Is highly organised and reliable.
- Can work independently without constant supervision.
- Is proactive and full of ideas.
- Is happy giving and receiving constructive feedback.
- Understands that social media moves fast and can adapt quickly.
Bonus Points If You...
- Are a parent (not essential).
- Have worked for a publisher, creator or media business.
- Have experience growing social channels.
- Can operate a camera.
- Have photography skills.
- Understand YouTube optimisation.
- Have experience with podcast production.
- Have experience using AI tools to improve workflows.
- Have an interest in football, parenting or digital media.
What Success Looks Like
Within your first six months you'll be helping create content that:
- Reaches millions of people every month.
- Builds stronger engagement across our communities.
- Produces consistently high-performing reels and videos.
- Delivers measurable value for our commercial partners.
- Helps establish Dadsnet as the UK's leading destination for dads.
What You'll Get
- Remote working.
- Flexible working hours.
- The opportunity to work either full-time or part-time.
- Real creative freedom and ownership.
- A role where your ideas genuinely shape the content we create.
- The opportunity to work on campaigns with some of the world's biggest brands.
- Access to industry events, filming opportunities and podcast recordings.
- Ongoing opportunities to learn, experiment and develop your skills.
- The chance to create content seen by millions of people every month.
- A friendly, ambitious and supportive team with plenty of room to grow as Dadsnet grows.
How To Apply
We care far more about what you've created than what your CV says. Please send us via email:
- Your CV (if you have one).
- Links to social media accounts you've grown or content you've created.
- Examples of your best video edits or social content.
- A short note telling us why you'd be a great fit for Dadsnet.
- If you've built your own audience, run meme pages, grown TikTok accounts or created content that people genuinely love—even better.
- We'd rather hire someone with exceptional instincts than someone with a perfect CV.
