Are you looking to kick-start your career in Engineering? We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Proposals Engineer to join our team in Rochdale. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn, develop technical skills, and gain hands-on experience in the design and development of sprinkler systems, building a successful long-term career.
Key Responsibilities
As part of this role, you will support the Sales team and work collaboratively on large-scale fire protection projects, gaining valuable hands-on experience in the industry. You will learn to use hydraulic calculation software, prepare accurate cost estimates, and develop key skills in estimating, proposal writing, and customer relationship management.
The role offers the opportunity to build a strong understanding of project specifications and client requirements, while expanding your knowledge of sprinkler system design standards, including LPC BS EN 12845, NFPA, and FM Global. You will also take responsibility for a range of administrative duties, liaising with customers and suppliers, and helping to manage enquiry workflows to ensure projects progress efficiently and professionally.

What We Offer
- Salary - £25,000 - £35,000 per annum (dependant upon experience)
- Hours – Full-time position with flexible working hours (flexi-time), allowing you to manage your schedule while meeting project and team needs.
