About the role

As Project Supervisor, you'll play a key role in ensuring high quality National Gas Services (NGS) projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in full compliance with all operational standards. You’ll provide strong safety leadership, technical expertise and a customer focused approach to deliver cost effective outcomes across a range of specialist gas engineering projects.

What you'll be doing

  • Supporting operational delivery across Under Pressure Drilling (UPD), ALH bagging off, Kleiss operations and large diameter pipe cutting activities
  • Planning, coordinating, and delivering technical works safely, efficiently and within agreed timescales
  • Leading site teams and supervising contractors to ensure safe and compliant delivery
  • Managing resources, equipment, plant, and subcontractors
  • Producing and maintaining daily reports, dashboards, progress updates, and delivery documentation
  • Chairing or supporting client meetings, surveys, kick off sessions, and site reviews
  • Building strong working relationships with Cadent, Network Plus and other stakeholders
  • Representing the business professionally during audits, inspections, and client meetings
  • Responding swiftly to operational issues, delays, or changes in project scope
  • Completing inspection defect reporting and ensuring RAMS, project documents and delivery charts are kept up to date in real time
  • Maintaining full safety, environmental and quality compliance
  • Preparing accurate close out packs, evidence, photographs, and QA documentation

What you'll bring

You’ll bring hands on technical experience across UPD, ALH/bagging off, Kleiss equipment or large diameter pipe cutting, and you’ll have a solid understanding of isolation planning, safe systems of work and safe control of operations. You’ll come with strong experience in gas distribution or transmission networks and be familiar with Cadent Gas practices, Network Plus processes and permit to work systems.

You’ll confidently plan and coordinate multiple technical workstreams while supervising teams and contractors on live operational sites. You’ll communicate professionally with clients and stakeholders, stay solutions focused when priorities shift, and maintain excellent attention to detail across documentation, RAMS updates and delivery charts.
