The Company

We provide fast, efficient funding and transactional platforms that allow workshops and corporate entities to streamline their cash flow and modernise their payment networks.

As we continue to scale our platforms and integrate deeper data-driven solutions for our corporate clients, we are seeking a commercial, sharp, and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team either on a short-term contract/interim or permanent basis.

The Role

As a Data Analyst at ACG, you’ll sit at the intersection of finance, operations, and technology. You will transform raw operational data into actionable commercial insights. This role goes far beyond basic reporting; you will play a key part in analysing corporate transaction models, assessing portfolio performance, and building the automated data pipelines that drive our strategic decision-making.

Reporting to: Director of Operations & Legal

Key Responsibilities

  • Commercial Analysis & Modelling: Analyse large datasets including but not limited to customer transactions, ledger performance, risk profiling and commercial analysis. Identifying trends, risks and opportunities to improve commercial performance.
  • Dashboarding & Reporting: Design, develop, and maintain robust automated dashboards and management information (MI) reports to provide senior leadership with absolute clarity on operational and commercial KPIs.
  • Workflow Automation: Build and optimise data workflows, reducing manual processing reliance by connecting operational systems with corporate accounting and data tools.
  • Data Integrity & Reconciliation: Work closely with the finance and operations teams to ensure complete accuracy in financial transaction tracking, data ingestion, and platform auditing.
  • Strategic Insights: Translate complex data trends into clear, concise business narratives to assist the senior management team in evaluating strategic opportunities and platform integrations.

Key Requirements

Core Software Proficiency: The successful candidate must possess advanced capabilities in excel and Power BI.

Experience: 2–4 years of experience working as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or Financial Data Analyst, ideally within a fintech, financial services, or B2B commercial environment.

Technical Toolkit

  • Strong proficiency in writing clean SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from relational databases.
  • Experience working with corporate accounting software environments or enterprise data platforms (experience with platforms like Sage 200 or similar systems is highly advantageous).
  • Hands-on experience building visual reports in modern BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio).

You will have

  • Analytical Mindset: Exceptional mathematical and analytical skills with a natural ability to spot anomalies in complex datasets.
  • Communication Skills: The ability to explain technical data findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders and corporate clients.
  • Education: A degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Finance, or a related quantitative field is preferred but equivalent practical experience is valued.
