• THE ROLE

The University of Wales Trinity Saint David (UWTSD) leads the project’s ethnographic component, ‘Voices of the Teifi’, which focuses on understanding the lived experiences, cultural practices, and relationships connecting communities to the river. This strand contributes qualitative insights to inform project delivery, evaluation, and legacy outputs, supporting NRW and partners in understanding how communities engage with environmental change and ecological restoration, and in embedding community perspectives within environmental stewardship and decision-making. The postholder will support the delivery of this ethnographic research under the direction of the Senior Lecturer. This includes undertaking high-quality fieldwork and analysis, working closely with communities and partners to document relationships with the River Teifi and its landscapes, and contributing robust qualitative insights to the wider programme.
