About The Role

Salary: Grade 9 (£37,280 - £39,152) per annum

Hours: Full time, 35 hours per week

Contract: Permanent

Location: Across Merseyside

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Senior Prevention Manager to join our Home Safety Team. You will lead and inspire a team of Prevention Team Managers, driving forward innovative home safety inatitives and support the delivery of our Community Risk Management Plan. You will play a pivotal role in shaping safer communities, promoting our values, and ensuring high standards of delivery are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Home Safety function
  • Have a proven track record of managing multiple teams
  • Deliver Home Safety and risk reduction initiatives
  • Support planning, performance monitoring, and service improvement
  • Develop staff through coaching, appraisal, and training
  • Manage resources, budgets, and data to inform decisions
  • Build strong partnerships with communities and stakeholders
  • Support delivery of the Community Risk Management Plan
  • Deputise for the Strategic Safeguarding Manager and oversee high-risk interventions

  • Strong leadership and team management experience
  • Skilled in planning, performance, and partnership working
  • Committed to innovation, community safety, and demonstrate the values of the service
  • Extensive knowledge in the field of Safeguarding.
