Are you an experienced academic with a passion for Project Management and a commitment to delivering an outstanding student experience?

As Senior Lecturer, you will play a leading role in the delivery and development of innovative, student-centred teaching within Kent Business School. Based in the Department of Analytics, Operations and Systems, you will combine academic leadership with scholarship, enterprise and business engagement, helping to shape the future of Project Management education at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Working in a collaborative and supportive environment, you will contribute to the School's growing reputation for excellence while developing strong links with industry and the wider profession.

As Senior Lecturer you can expect to be involved in:

  • Providing academic and operational leadership within the Project Management area.
  • Undertaking scholarship, independently and collaboratively.
  • Teaching and administering modules within the subject area, including, inter alia, Project Management, Project Management and Control, Responsible Project Leadership, Emerging Topics and Skills for Project Professionals, Agile Project Management, Benefits Realisation Management, and Business Analysis Tools.
  • Contributing to the management and development of existing programmes, modules and other activities and to the development of new modules, programmes and other activities within the subject area, including professional body accreditations.

What will you bring to the role?

  • Masters (or equivalent) in relevant professional area.
  • Teaching experience in the advertised subject area, including experience in teaching that involves the use of modern operations / project management software and technologies.
  • Teaching skills appropriate to higher education at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
  • Ability to conduct impactful scholarship.
