Mortgage Adviser - Fast Growing Firm with great marketing and leads

Location: North West London

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 Basic Salary + commission / £50,000 OTE

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Mortgage Adviser to join our clients growing team. The successful candidate will provide whole-of-market (or panel-based) mortgage advice, guiding clients through the home-buying, buy to let mortgages, and re-mortgaging process while delivering outstanding service and compliant, tailored recommendations.

You will assess clients’ financial circumstances, recommend suitable mortgage and protection solutions, and manage applications through to completion, building long-term relationships and contributing to business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide regulated mortgage advice in line with FCA requirements and company policies
• Conduct detailed fact-finds to understand clients’ financial needs and objectives
• Research and recommend suitable mortgage products from lenders
• Advise on associated protection products (life cover, critical illness, income protection, etc.)
• Manage mortgage applications from initial enquiry through to completion
• Liaise with lenders, solicitors, estate agents, and other third parties to progress cases
• Maintain accurate client records and documentation in line with compliance standards
• Deliver excellent customer service and build lasting client relationships
• Meet individual and team performance targets
• Keep up to date with lender criteria, market changes, and regulatory developments

Skills & Experience

Essential

• CeMAP (or equivalent Level 3 Mortgage Advice qualification)
• Proven experience as a Mortgage Adviser
• Strong knowledge of the UK mortgage market and lending criteria
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage a pipeline and work to deadlines
• High level of professionalism and attention to detail

Desirable

• Experience advising on protection products
• Whole-of-market experience
• Strong business development or lead generation capability
