Role Profile – Commercial Administrator

Mudwalls (Food Group) are a growing consolidator / distributor, relating to the supply of Fine Food and Drink, including Mudwalls Fresh Produce, to the independent Retail / Foodservice sectors. All the products we supply are consolidated and distributed from our purpose-built Distribution Centre in Redditch, Worcestershire. This ensures that all the Fine Food and Drink we supply meets the strict Mudwalls (Food Group) standards.

Due to continued growth, Mudwalls (Food Group) are recruiting for a new Commercial Administrator to join our existing team.

The Commercial Administrator will act as a key support function to our commercial department.

Please carefully read the below and only apply if you can demonstrate proficiency across all or most of the below essential criteria: -

· Experience in a similar role / knowledge of the food / retail Industry would be hugely beneficial.

· Understanding of the commercial process relating to the sourcing, purchase & supply of goods / products / services.

· Some knowledge in customer / supplier liaison / negotiation, inc. Margin / P&L comprehension, would be beneficial.

· New & existing supplier / product set-up / maintenance.

· New & existing customer maintenance (account setup, IT system setup, etc).

· Strong communication skills with experience of dealing with internal stakeholders, customers & suppliers.

· Experienced in the use of Excel & Microsoft based IT functionality.

· Provide effective customer service relating to deliveries / issues / enquiries.

· Pricing / system administration (inc. Customer Pricelist production, in conjunction with defined retail periods).

· Production of weekly sales reports (all customers).

· Assist Business Development team with customer related requirements.

· Dealing with & responding to Customer queries / requests / complaints, etc.

· Support in the processing of customer (sales) orders via various sources (i.e. EDI, email, telephone).

· Provide executive support to Managing Director and heads of departments.

Key Requirements: -

· Own transport and full UK Driving License.

· Based full time at our Worcestershire Head Office.

· Hold the required standard of English language and literacy in relation to the role.

· Ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently, using own initiative.

· Highly numerate with strong diligence / attention to detail.

· Completion and recording of all company documentation as required.

· Flexibility (prepared to perform any other reasonable requested duties as requested).

· Strong / confident IT skills (Inc. Excel experience).

· Education: GCSE or equivalent.

· Punctual and self-motivated.
