Pensions Valuation Technician – The Role:
The Bulk Annuity team in our Insurance, Advisory & Remediation division perform pension valuation calculations for life insurers undertaking risk transfer of pension schemes. The work includes providing valuations that feed into the due diligence and pricing processes for the insurers taking on this risk. We work with key Bulk Annuity insurers as part of our daily responsibilities.
Through the wide range of advisory services delivered to our clients, we provide our staff with a variety of work experiences within a supportive atmosphere. Key Responsibilities
Pensions Valuation Technician – Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing and validating complex datasets
- Conducting analysis of scheme documentation and RFQs
- Mapping data into formats that are compatible with Mo.net
- Responding to client queries, maintaining positive relationships
Your Skills & Experience
Pensions Valuation Technician – You:
- Previous experience within an actuarial environment
- A strong academic background in Mathematics, or a similar subject
- An aptitude to progress with completing exams through the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFoA)
- Excellent data analysis and preparation skills
