About The Role

Pertemps Glasgow Perm Hub is recruiting a Production Op to join a manufacturing team based in Motherwell. This full-time, temporary role involves assembling thermostats within a factory environment, requiring strong manual dexterity and careful attention to detail. The working pattern offers either day shifts (Monday to Thursday, 7:00am – 4:45pm) or night shifts (Monday to Thursday, 9:15pm – 7:00am), with flexibility across both expected. The hourly rate is £12.71 for the first six weeks, rising to £13.40 thereafter, with a night shift allowance also applicable. This position, located in Newhouse Industrial Estate, provides ongoing temporary work with potential for long-term placement.

Assembly Operative Required – Newhouse Industrial Estate

We are currently recruiting for an Assembly Operative to join a busy manufacturing team based in Newhouse Industrial Estate. This is a temporary ongoing position with the potential for long-term work.

Role

You will be assembling thermostats in a fast-paced production environment. This role requires a high level of manual dexterity, attention to detail, and the flexibility to support production requirements.

Location

Shifts Available

Newhouse Industrial Estate, Motherwell, Holytown

• Days: Monday to Thursday, 7:00am – 4:45pm
• Nights: Monday to Thursday, 9:15pm – 7:00am
• 37 hours per week
• Flexibility to work across both required

Pay Rates

• £12.71 per hour for the first 6 weeks
• £13.40 per hour after 6 weeks
• Night shift allowance paid in addition to the hourly rate for employees working night shifts

Requirements

• Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
• Flexible and reliable approach to work
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Previous assembly or manufacturing experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided
