Ihr Profil

• Ein abgeschlossenes Studium im Bereich Chemieingenieurwesen, Verfahrenstechnik, Maschinenbau oder einer vergleichbaren technischen Fachrichtung
• Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung in der chemischen Industrie oder einer vergleichbaren Prozessindustrie wünschenswert
• Gutes Verständnis für Produktionsprozesse und Anlagentechnik sowie Vertrautheit mit relevanten Vorschriften
• Kenntnisse im Projektmanagement und idealerweise in der SPS-Programmierung
• Eine analytische Denkweise, ausgeprägtes Sicherheits- und Verantwortungsbewusstsein sowie eine lösungsorientierte Herangehensweise
• Kommunikationsstärke, Teamgeist, Eigeninitiative und die Fähigkeit, Entscheidungen zielgerichtet umzusetzen

Your responsibilities

As a key part of the Purchasing and Supply Chain team of BYK Widnes, the role reports to the Purchasing and Supply Chain Deputy Manager.

Working integrally with other members of the Purchasing and Supply Chain team, the role is responsible for the efficient and effective operation of the warehouse function, delivering performance to agreed procedures and standards, suggesting, and implementing improvements as necessary to address the changing nature of the business and its environment.

• Controls and executes tasks, provides support for other tasks within Widnes site Warehouse operations under the supervision of the warehouse supervisor.
• Supports overall operating excellence by controlling cost, operating efficiency, and working to department service levels.
• Effective implementation of site Warehouse processes.
• Adhere to Safety and Environment Regulations.
• Quality Conformance in all activities - weight, appearance, etc.
• Maximise Equipment Utilisation
• Achievement of schedules set out in the resource plan for the area.
• Accurate plant and SAP records
• Housekeeping standards – 5S/Area audits.
