Customer Service Call Handler (FNOL Team)

Full-Time | Permanent | 44 Hours Per Week

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday + 1 in 2 Saturdays

We are looking for a Customer Service Call Handler to join our First Notification of Loss (FNOL) team in Doncaster. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong communication skills who enjoys helping customers in a fast-paced environment.

No automotive experience is required full training is provided.

What Youll Be Doing

As the first point of contact following a road incident, you will support customers through the early stages of their insurance claim by providing reassurance, gathering information, and ensuring every case is handled efficiently and professionally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound customer calls relating to accidents and vehicle damage
  • Record accurate claim details using internal systems
  • Provide clear updates throughout the claims process
  • Liaise with insurers, repair centres, and internal departments
  • Deliver excellent customer service during difficult situations
  • Manage your workload while meeting service standards and KPIs

  • Empathy, patience, and problem-solving ability

  • Previous customer service experience in a call centre, retail, hospitality, office, or similar environment
  • Basic computer literacy and confidence using systems
