About the Role
This permanent post is offering 23 hours per week over 3.5 days on a 4 days on 4 days off basis and includes working weekends and public holidays, so we are looking for the successful candidates to show flexibility to support the needs of the people we support.
As the Cleaner for our development, you will support:
- Cleaning of common areas i.e. offices, corridors, kitchens, lounge, communal employee spaces.
- Cleaning of development accommodation, bath, toilet and shower areas
- Sanitising of surfaces, furniture and office equipment as required by rota.
- Removal of waste and preparation of guest bedrooms.
- Working in accordance with infection prevention control, COSSHH, Health and Safety guidelines.

- Have a genuine passion for helping people and supporting independent living.
- Have demonstrable experience of empathising with and caring for the elderly.
- Have a flexible approach to work with a can-do attitude.
- Be able to follow cleaning schedules and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with clear written presentation.
Desirable
- You’ll also need basic digital and ICT skills so that you can access e-learning programs as well as the company portal.
- Food Hygiene certificate.
- Kitchen Hygiene certificate.
