Why join us?

We’re proud of our happy home and are dedicated to creating a place where everyone enjoys coming to work each day.

As well being part of a lively and supportive team, we are surrounded by fascinating residents who also bring so much to our lives every day too.

About the role

As the Head of Lifestyles for our residents living with dementia, you will play a vital role in curating and coordinating a wide range of engaging and meaningful activities that enrich their daily lives. Your efforts will help foster a vibrant and stimulating environment, promoting both fun and connection. In addition, you will provide compassionate one-on-one support and companionship to residents who may not be able to participate in group activities, ensuring they feel valued and supported. In addition to coordinating group activities, you will work closely with the care team to assess residents' preferences and abilities, ensuring that activities are personalized to foster a sense of accomplishment and enjoyment. You will also play a key role in monitoring and adapting activities to maintain their relevance and impact.

Here’s some other important things you need to know:

  • You must be alert at all times to our residents’ physical and mental well being
  • Organise and accompany Residents, where possible, to off-site activities, which may occasionally take place out of normal working hours
  • Understand and ensure the implementation of the Care Homes Health and Safety policy, and Emergency and Fire procedures
  • Previous experience is desired but not essential
